Printing Via windows XP

You should connect to the Windoze printer using
smb://<pc computer name>/MTC_Printer
where <pc computer name> is the name you would connect to your PC from 
another PC.

For details see the man page smbspool.

Your Macbook should have installed the necessary stuff.
