lpq show the printer is NOT ready,how to fix this problem?

Yes, I guess u have the answer, see below.
$ lpstat -p
printer printer disabled since Sat Jan 1 20:25:54 2000 -
Filter "pstopxl" for printer "printer" not available: No such file or directory
Well, how can i fix this problem. Thanks in advance.
