[cups.general] How to debug cups-lpd?

Ok, I found something strange in the messages:


cups-lpd[24346]: Unknown command-line option 
""document-format=application/octet-stream"" ignored!

Why is this option ignored? The entry for xinetd was copied from the 
man-page
