[cups.general] pstoraster

Hello,

During few days, I have tried to configure cups for printing text files.
When I have compared the cups configuration directory, I have discovered a 
pstoraster.convs with this line  application/vnd.cups-postscript 
application/vnd.cups-raster 100 pstoraster

I add this file and now that work.

What this ?
I know, that a conversion file but why his job during the print of a text file 
(132 cols) in a postscript printer ?
