Hey,

when I try adding a new printer the system forces me into a ssl(https) connection
Http-error:
>426 Upgrade Required
>You must access this page using the URL https://name.local:631/admin.
and then rejects to respond (meaning Browser doesn't stop loading).
When connecting directly to https://192.xxx.xxx.xxx:631
same problem.

Running Debian Lenny,
cups version  1.3.8-1.
Printer: Gutenprint driver (Canon Pixma5200 USB)

I can't manage cups locally so I've cut security to zero (I hoped) by changing cupsd.conf
to essentialy

<Location />
Allow from ALL
AuthClass Anonymous
AuthType None
  Order allow,deny
</Location>

Is there a switch for this https-thing
or something else i can do/ did wrong?

regards
