API - struct cups_job_s doesn't have a 'pages' member

Is there a good reason why the API's cups_job_s structure doesn't have a 'pages' member (showing the number of pages in the document being printed, if known)? This figure does appear in the Jobs web page for each job. See http://www.cups.org/documentation.php/api-cups.html#STRUCTURES

If not, I might submit an RFE for this.
