We won't accept this for upstream CUPS, and IMHO the patch is the
wrong approach - if Samba/Windows can't handle a job name with "(" or
")", it should filter those characters out, much like the LPD backend
filters out UTF-8 characters to work around limitations in many
printers.
"(stdin)" has a long history for both lpr and lp, and it is one of the
backwards-compatibility things we use in CUPS for legacy systems.
