Settings are kept once only

I use Adobe Reader (8.1.2) to view and print pdf:s. But no matter how many copies I want, I get one only. And the same goes for setting short end duplex printing (Brother HL4050CDN).

I have now discarded more paper than I care to think about due to that short end debacle. And I have spent long enough printing one copy at the time.

Is this an issue with CUPS or Adobe Reader?
