Hello,

i use lpr from our linux box to print on a networkprinter.
This works fine so far.

But i run into problems when the printer runs out of paper.

If i check with lpq i got this output:

srv-smart01:~ # lpq -U db2inst2
cusa is not ready
Rank Owner Job File(s) Total Size
1st db2inst 5225 205402553_09_0000643_01_RE13.pd 4096 bytes
2nd db2inst 5226 205508685_09_0000329_01_MAHB.pd 9216 bytes

srv-smart01:~ # lpstat -p
printer cusa disabled since Wed Mar 4 21:55:12 2009 -
	/usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd failed

The command: enable cusa does not help.

So how is it possible to enable the printer again?

Btw. the os is opensuse i have configured the printer with yast.

Thanks
Christian
