[cups.general] I don't understand the printcap entries

Hello,

I have a server, duinheks.nl and a workstation beekhuizen.priv.
On the server are two printers: one on the parallel port, called lp
and set as default printer, and one on an usb port called colour.
Now when I look in printcap on the workstation I see lp as lp, like
I expected, but colour is called colour at duinheks.nl.
How and why is this happening?
I'm running cups 1.3.10 on Slackware 12.1.
