[cups.general] CUPS on Mac and queues overlapping?

No, however if you are adding one from the Mac OS X GUI, none of the  
color profiles will be registered for the queue created with lpadmin  
and so it will get slightly different PDF/PS sent to it. Adding both  
from the GUI (just choose "Other..." for the driver and pick the  
4500DX driver) should eliminate that as a possible cause.
