Printing with options

Hello,

I'm faced with a situation where i'm displaying all options loaded up from a PPD and letting the user choose the value for each option. When done, i'd like to take all those options and validate them against the PPD. I've read the docs and checked out the source code but i'm not exactly sure in what order i should be calling things and if i should be calling them at all. Is there any docs i might have missed or some place where all of this is clearly defined?

While i'm at it, is there a doc that points out all the standard options that i can use with cupsAddOption? I've been looking for what option to pass in for orientation but i can't seem to find anything.
