If the pages of the respective job are really independent of each other,
then any setpagedevice command at the beginning of a page is only relevant 
for this page, so en enclosing save / restore doens't hurt.

Special things like e.g. stapling only certain page ranges etc, surely are 
quite a different thing - I think this could be subject of an enhancement of 
the pstops filter to deal with page-exception (collection-..) attributes.
