CUPS shows print completed but no print?

> I have a Canon MX860 running on a wireless network.  A desktop running Vista has no problem printing.  I have CUPS set up to print from a laptop running puppy Linux.  (wireless internet on theis same network works on the laptop.) CUPS found the printer complete with correct IP address during set up.  When I send a print file, it will show as pending then completed in CUPS but nothing actually prints.  Any suggestions?


This is pretty much what happens to me as well.  Except my printer is hooked up to a Mac.  My Ubuntu desktop has no problem printing, but when I go to print from my laptop, both mine and the mac's CUPS show it as completed but nothing actually prints.  I'd like to know
