OSX printing with Linux host running CUPS 1.4.1 / page orientation

Hello,

I'm using CUPS 1.4.1 with linux host to serve printers to OSX 10.4-5 clients. Problem is that I cannot use vertical printing to A4/A3, all prints are printed horizontally, even if I select vertical prints from application.

For example, one printer is OKI C8800 to which there is queues set up with openprinting PXLCOLOR-ppd and also with OKI:s own PPD (LSB printing for OKI). When I print vertical image from Adobe CS3/4, it get printed horizontally and gets cropped from each side. Changing page orientation settings do not change the orientation in printing.

There are issues with other printer models and PPD:s (Xerox), so I'm beginning to think that am I missing some setting in CUPS for both printers? When I set the printer up locally on OSX client, vertical printing works fine.

Is this common behaviour with OSX clients + CS3/4 and CUPS?
