[cups.general] cups 1.4.1 under Solaris 10 5/09

Hi Rainer

I tried this on my own. Compiling CUPS on Solaris 10/SPARC. Well, it was 
u7, but I can say to you, that you'll get in a dependency hell, as 
you'll need to install or upgrade system components as python, hal, 
udev, etcpp.

Maybe it would be better to wait until blastwave.org offers a 1.4.x pkg. 
I know they're working on it, but cannot say when they'll finish.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with your USB problem. But if you're 
successful, I'll be very interested (and thankful :) to get the cups 
pkgs from you. Don't hesitate to contact me directly.
