Wide Format Printer Displaymaker 72uvr

I have a Macdermid Colorspan Displaymaker 72uvr printer (72" wide )now owned by HP
My problem is:
I know the printer communicated with another computer where the files were RIPped the OEM rip would be Colormark which I'm fairly certain had a dongle. And it used a Ethernet crossover cable with a proprietary protocol called Videonet (by Macdermid). I am without the PC that had a rip/dongle and Videonet card. HP has a driver for the protocol using an Intel Ethernet card.
My research has lead me here. I would like to use Ghostscript and my Intel Macbook 10.4(Tiger) to print to the 72uvr. PPD's are available. Please advise.
