First, NEVER edit printers.conf directly, especially if you don't know what
you are doing.

Second, the PPD file for the printer (in /etc/cups/ppd) MUST use the same
base name as the <Printer name> or <DefaultPrinter name> line, otherwise
CUPS has no way to link the two files together.

Finally, we don't provide GUI software with CUPS.
