[cups.general] ErrorPolicy stop-printer

When the printing job fails ....... the printer stops (by default),
but ... why is the job stopped too?
i have an script that every 5 minutes checks all printers and enables
all ..... because someones files to print a file when they are on
(because of network???? i dont know) but ... the jobs continue stopped
by default
i think i must change the default policy to retry-job no?
this policy doesnt stop the printer or sometimes?
the cups 1.1 hadnt the policy directive .....
