Hi all,

when I issue a lpr command on my notebook, that at that time is not
connected to a printer (but will be later when I carry it to the room
where the printer is located), I see with the top-command under Linux:

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
3179 lp 25 0 3244 800 644 R 99.9 0.2 4:51.95 usb

and after a while the cpu gets really hot.
Is this a CUPS- or a usb problem? I use CUPS 1.3.5 and Linux-kernel 2.6.21.5

Any suggestion how to fix this?

Best
