CUPS - Defining a "Develop Ineo 220+" Printer with a known .ppd file

Hello Everyone,
i am very new to Cups and tried many ways to get cups in my business working and i GOT IT RUNNING (success!) very well.
It shares 7 Printers with Samba, the printers in Cups uses RAW and the Windows Clients using their own, distributed by Samba - drivers.
This seems to work.
But - after all is going well, one of the Develop Ineo 220+ prints out many Pages with a "mini-logo" in red, the printers count it as a "full-colour page" - so i have to deactivate there the colour settings - i am worried about counting so many pages, because the printer is under full-service with 300 pages in colour an 15.000 in bw. After 4 days we got 1000 colour pages :-)
I need to deactivate colour management on the printer for one shared printer in cups, and i need to activate it for another printer name and driver - but the same printer - so i can "walk the line" and make all changes on every user account on every machine (inlcudes the home offices) or set back the printer to work as a "driver" shared device and not as a raw device. Or is there a way to customize every setting via "logon.bat" ?
I tried the whole weekend from remote to get this printer working with his own .ppd file (get it here http://www.traumlinux.de/36C-1G.PPD) and without any windows drivers.
I used the SAMBA 3 Guide in printed form.
- Activated RAW (before) in mime.
- Set up the printer with RAW
- Uploaded the driver from Windows Network Mask via the "new" upload funct.
Worked well.
But now, without having the driver on windows, cups must have the drivers :
- Set up the printer with the ppd file abvove, network printer (socket://...:9100)
- Published with Samba
- Printed a testpage in the web control of cups - the printer makes some noise - and receive something - but nothing prints, no failure notice on the printer.
I tried many ways - use a "generic" driver, use some other ppd drivers in testing - nothing works. Everytime the printer "warms up" and then stopped the warming and go to sleep.
?!
I hope someone can help and i would be very graceful!
Thanks much - CUPS is a excellent thing and i am very proud to "can" use it :-)
Stefan
