[cups.general] how can i upgrade to the last version

What is wrong with our officially provided and in particular
regarding security updates maintained CUPS version 1.3.11
in openSUSE 11.2 so that you need to upgrade to CUPS 1.4.2?

CUPS 1.4 is not officially provided for any openSUSE version
and whatever CUPS 1.4 packages you may find in our
openSUSE build service are not officially supported
in any way by us so that you are totally on your own
when you install and use non-official CUPS packages.

Nevertheless we appreciate of course any tester for our
newest CUPS 1.4.2 development packages in the "Printing"
project in the openSUSE build service, see for example
