Canon LBP-3010 won't print in command line

Hi,

I am trying to make some command line printings with cups on Mac OSX Leopard with a Canon LBP-3010 via the simple command "lp filename", but it just is not working, and I don't have any idea why it is not working, I have no experience in using cups.

All I can add is that the lp command works fine with other Epson printers.
