Remote host did not respond with command status byte after 300 seconds!

I've installed Red Hat 4 Update 5  on demand .

I defined printers on the server as LPD and added the IP addres
s to /etc/hosts. I have a few printers that are being disabled and STOP from web interface   occasionally with the message:

W [14/Jan/2010:03:27:43 -0600] [Job 34699] Remote host did not respond with command status byte after 300 seconds!

I [14/Jan/2010:03:27:43 -0600] Saving printers.conf...


I do not know if this is happening when a job is sent and the printer does
not respond after 300 seconds or if the server is maintaining contact with
the printer and cannot find it for 300 seconds.

This may be the cause you can not connect to the computer, while other printers on the same computer functioning normally.
