[cups.general] page_log is empty

Both use foomatic-rip as filter so that it is something
related to foomatic-rip which must write the page log
(foomatic-rip calls other programs including the actual driver)
and foomatic-rip is provided via openprinting.org.

Therefore you should contact openprinting.org for further analysis
what exactly related to foomatic-rip does not write the page log
in your particular case.
