[cups.general] Print from windows in non post script printers

I set up a HP K5400 [no Postscript printer] using HP BACKEND and using
hp-officejet_pro_k5400-hpijs.ppd.gz as PPD.
I can print just fine the test page from cups.
So i used cupsaddsmb printer , and the printer became available to
windows users.
But when i try to print i get the PostScript source being printed.
What am i doing wrong ? The job is getting to the server as
CONTENT_TYPE=application/vnd.cups-raw" but i think it should get there
as a postscript so it would be converted to the format the printer can
understand.
Am i missing something ?
