hi everybody,
I have the following problem when I print any pdf file,
either with acroread or okular, on a Samsung ML-2850:
I always get 4 pages per side, which makes the printout
almost impossible to read.
I think that this comes from the filter called by lpr.
With evince, I get 1 page per side, but I suppose that it's
because evince doesn't use lpr.
This problem occurs for all pdf files, even for a 1 page file.
I have exactly the same problem with xfig:
the xfig print windows shows: Fig size 18.4cm x 22.0cm
which is what I get when I print on any printer other than
the Samsung. On the Samsung, I get a fig size of 9.2cmx11cm
I have no problem with my 2 other printers (HP BIJ and HP Photosmart)
which excludes a problem of software settings. Anyway, I checked the
settings in system-config-printer, acroread and okular: they
are all for 1 page per sheet.
Any idea on how to solve this problem?
