Errors sending large numbers of documents toprinter

I tried replying to this msg twice yesterday, and it never showed up.
So I'm attempting to post it as a new message instead of a reply.

1.3.7-8el5 CentOS

Yes. :-)  Some printers are configured for Socket connection, one is on another CUPS server.
