[cups.general] CUPS Relay Server: Doesn't advertise using 'dnssd' protocol

Hello,

Is there a specific reason why CUPS does not register relayed printers
with the local mDNS stack (eg. Avahi)? My configuration,

    BrowseProtocols CUPS dnssd
    BrowsePoll cups:631
    BrowseRelay 127.0.0.1 172.17.129.255

explicitly tells CUPS to advertise all printers (relayed and local)
using the CUPS and the DNS-SD protocol. Browse packets using the CUPS
protocol (broadcast on the IPP port) arrive just fine.

Best Regards,
  Hagen Fuchs

[0] btw: The line 'BrowseRelay 127.0.0.1 @LOCAL' as mentioned in the
    documentation produces the error message

        Hostname lookup for "@LOCAL" failed!
