installed printer missing from CUPS printer list

> I am running an Ubuntu Linux box, and attempted to connect my Brother HL-2330 printer. However, the driver was not installed, so I installed the LPS and CUPS drivers for said printer. Unfortunately, when I went to add the connected printer, the printer did not appear on the list (although many other Brother printers did). What do I need to do/install to make HL-2330 appear on the list of printer drivers?

EDIT: I meant HL-2230. The HL-2330 model does not exist.
