lexmark e260dn not recognized

I just got this printer and it is recognized as being on a usb port (lsusb), but Cups does not see it. I am trying to add the printer through the localhost:631 page. When I click "find printer" it returns "no printer found".

Just as an experiment, I tried to modify an existing printer (no longer on the same usb port), I see the lexmark e260dn listed in the options.

Please clue me in as to what I should do next.
