Hi Ashok,

Thanks a lot for the response.

The label template file contains Zebra Programming Language ZPL Commands.

Here are the contents of my label file.

-----------------------------------------------------------
^XA^SZ2~TA0~JSN^MD0^LT0^MFN,N^JZY^PR6,6,6^PMN^JMA^LH0,0^XZ
^XA^LRN^XZ
^XA^FO20,29^A0N,50,68^FD*locn_class^FS
^FO33,114^BY3^BCN,203,N,N^FD>:*locn_brcd^FS
^FO46,370^A0N,70,100^FD*dsp_locn^FS
^FO541,153^A0N,124,170^FD*cd^PQ1,0,1,Y^XZ
-----------------------------------------------------------

The same file when printed from a AIX Machine prints the label always(and always fine).

The same file when printed from a Linux Machine into a Raw Printer prints the label "ONLY SOMETIMES".....like 1 in 20....This is the reason why i wanted to try with a different raw driver if that is possible. For each request that does not result a label coming out of the printer, I see one open connection in TIME_WAIT status to the printer port <My Printer IP>:9100

The same file when printed from the same Linux Machine into a Printer using the Zebra ZPL Driver prints the label "ALWAYS".....but the printed label contains the ZPL code on the label stationary instead of the barcodes etc.

Please guide.

Regards,
Anurag
