Epson printer settings

Hi all

OS Fedora FC13X86_64 DM Gnome

The problem I have is the default printer is set to 2880x 2880.
I use this for printing on to transparencies to make negatives.

If I look at printer properties it shows 720x 360.
If I go to the cups maintenace/ setdefaults, it is set at 720x360

and you can set the defaults, but it still uses 2880x 2880 as its default resolution.

Any idea where I can look to find what is taking priority over the cups settings when I print ?
