Thanks, I had a look at that and as a result did this:-
[root at g8jvm bin]# locate .cups
/home/richard/.cups
/home/richard/.cups/lpoptions
/usr/bin/cancel.cups
/usr/bin/lp.cups
/usr/bin/lpq.cups
/usr/bin/lpr.cups
/usr/bin/lprm.cups
/usr/bin/lpstat.cups
/usr/sbin/lpc.cups
/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.opensuse.cupspkhelper.mechanism.policy
[root at g8jvm bin]# cat /home/richard/.cups/lpoptions
Dest EPSON-Stylus-Photo-R285 MediaType=Transparency PageRegion=A4 PageSize=A4 Resolution=1444x720dpi StpiShrinkOutput=Crop StpQuality=High
[root at g8jvm bin]#

So there is only one lpoptions on this computer and that shows the print resolution at 1444 x 720 dpi

Thats nothing like 2880 x 2880

There is another file hidden somewhere, ???
