[cups.general] Mac OS X - Two jobs in same queue showing "Printing" status

What I have observed (10.6.8 and 10.7, not tried on 10.5.8) is as follows:

1. Send a print job.
2. Pause the queue.
3. Send another print job.
4. A dialog informing "Queue is paused. Do you want to 'Cancel' or 'Add Job to Paused Queue' or 'Resume Queue'" is displayed.
5. Choose Resume.
6. Second job is added to queue, queue is resumed and second job (not the job on top of queue) shows printing status.
7. After a short time, first job which was paused in step #2 above also changes status to printing.

I also noticed two instances each of the filter and backend running at this time.

As of 10.5.8, only the job on top of the queue, which is actually printing, 
is shown as "Printing", the next ones simpla yre tagged by "-".
