problem with Epson Stylus Sx218 on OpenSuse11.4

I reinstalled Suse11.4. Then install the drivers epson-escpr from here Printer: Epson SX218 Series | OpenPrinting - The Linux Foundation. Then install pipslite-1.5.0-5.i386.rpm; iscan-data-1.9.0-1.noarch.rpm and iscan-2.26.4-2.i386.rpm from here: http://www.avasys .jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/spc/DL2.do.
I did the following:
$ su -
# ln -s /usr/share/cups/model /usr/share/ppd
Now the printer and scanner work perfectly.
