[cups.bugs] [HIGH] STR #3919: imagetoraster filter in Opensuse11.04 does not convert tiff file to cups raster properly. Resulting file has black band and clipped data.

SUSE uses /usr/lib/cups/filter/imagetoraster
and /usr/share/cups/mime/mime.convs
"as is" from upstream CUPS.

I don't know why there are two ways how image/tiff can be
converted into application/vnd.cups-raster in mime.convs.

>From image/tiff to application/vnd.cups-postscript
via imagetops and that from application/vnd.cups-postscript 
to application/vnd.cups-raster via pstoraster

or alternatively with less costs

from image/gif direstly to application/vnd.cups-raster
via imagetoraster.

The latter one seems not to work (at least in this case).

Perhaps the easiest way is to remove the latter one
(but I don't know for which case it might be needed)
or alternatively increase their costs like
  image/tiff application/vnd.cups-raster 200 imagetoraster
so that this way is no longer used ("too expensive").
