Gutenprint drivers in cups

What needs to be done to make gutenprint 5.2 drivers available in cups 1.5 ?

details:
Clean installation of Fedora 16 (not update to).
Install cups (yum).
Using the localhost:631 interface install an epson stylus photo rx620 printer.
2 usb drivers were found.
neither prints, 1 feeds paper.
Install (yum) gutenprint 5.2 .
cupsd stopped and restarted.
Delete and reinstall printer. gutenprint driver(s) not on list provided by cups.
