Thanks for your reply.

I am using openssl 0.9.8r which supports SNI and cups 1.5 version. Since i dont find any option in cups/http for setting SNI variable, the https connection set the servername as "localhost" instead of original DNS. Can u pls elaborate how it works automatically to set the servername extension in SSL layer using the current version of cups.

Will this concept even works in cups 1.3 ?
