printing multiple little files

Hello everybody,

I have a RH4.5 cluster (with and cups 1.1.22-0.rc1.9.20) that runs an application that prints hundreds of little files (10k~50k) and I installed a CentOS 5.5 (with cups-1.3.7-18.el5_5.8) to act as a print server to create/configure printers in a centralized way.

The problem is that the machine generating the print jobs, waits for the print server to print one file before it sends the next so the printing is very slow.

How can I configure the cups client to send blindly all the files to the print server?
