[cups.general] "client-error-document-format-not-supported"

Hello, I'm having difficulty getting an Epson Photo R300 working 
properly. Cups 1.2.6, on Vector Linux 5.8.

The application is Gimp-Print Version 4.2, using "lpr" as the print 
command, there is no print output to the printer.

The Gimp-Print info dialog says "Note: Please do not remove the "-l" or 
"-oraw" from the command string, or printing will probably fail!."

However, if the "-l" option is used, the printer spits out raw 
postscript! With standard 4x6 photo stock, this gets costly fast!
