[cups.bugs] [HIGH] STR #3790: Successful jobs logged in error log not in page log

A Windows XP client joined to an AD domain is configured to print to a
Linux server joined to the same domain via smb. The queue delivers to an
HP LaserJet 4100 via JetDirect. The Ubuntu 8.04 server is running samba
3.0.28a. The print job goes through but is not registered in the page log.
It is however in the error log:
