add printer hangs with looking for printers

there must be a bug on this yes i am and if I do try to add a printer the port stops listening and i need to restart the cups service.

I downloaded the cups 1.3.11 source and compiled it.
I removed cups 1.4.4
I installed 1.3.11 on my solaris 10 server and it works fine.
So there must be an issue for solaris 10 in 1.4.4
I guess i will use 1.3.11
