[OT?] GhostScript bug writing tiffg3 to stdout

Thanks for the explanation. So the bug is really that Ghostscript doesn't check for/insist on a seekable output file when it needs it. Is that a known bug then? I couldn't find anything matching in the Ghostscript bugzilla.
