[cups.general] Bad device-uri scheme

Hi,

OK, I could fix that issue by rewriting the debian/control file
(Build-Depends section). I could print pdf, doc, txt, png, jpeg, et
cetera.
However I frequently get this error message if I try to run the cups daemon:
/usr/sbin/cupsd
cupsd: Child exited with status 1!

Interestingly, my /var/log/cups/ folder is completely empty this time.
What is typical cause of this issue ?
