Hi,

Thank you for your previous help. Still stuck.

What bugs me is that, it does not really report the error messages
properly, and it is really hard and time-consuming to figure out
sometimes what is going wrong. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

For example:
helloworld:~# lpadmin -x security
helloworld:~# lpadmin -p security -v lpd://172.21.36.88/ps -E
helloworld:~# lp -d security /home/user/avatar.jpeg
request id is security-4 (1 file(s))
helloworld:~# lpstat -p security
printer security disabled since Tue 14 Jun 2011 12:14:22 PM EEST -
	/usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd failed
helloworld:~# ls -lda /usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 39228 Jun 13 18:12
/usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd
helloworld:~# file /usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd
/usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, ARM, version
1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.16,
stripped
helloworld:~#

The error and access log does not reveal any lines starting with "E"
or at least tell me somehow something went wrong and what exactly.

Any help is welcome!

Best Regards,
Laszlo Papp
