This is an interesting idea, however given that we don't control most of
the raster filters in use and that this can have some bad side-effects
when combined with certain dithering algorithm (imagine a simple screen
dither that is out-of-phase with our 50% checkerboard pattern - nothing
would ever get printed in some cases! :), I don't think we'll be
implementing this in CUPS.
