[cups.general] pdf orientation issue in Cups 1.4.6 and ghostscript 9.02

Hi,

We are currently using Cups 1.2.7 with ESP Ghostscript 815.04 on solaris 10.. We are in the process of moving over to a new server and we have installed Cups 1.4.6 and GPL Ghostscript 9.02.

One of our documents that is a pdf label that we send to a Zebra ZPL Label Printer is no longer coming out in the correction orientation. Any ideas as to where to even begin to start to debug this issue?

I suspect it may be to do with the new ghostscript version as the docs state ""By default Ghostscript determines viewing page orientation based on the dominant text orientation on the page. Sometimes, when the page has text in several orientations or has no text at all, wrong orientation can be selected."

Any thoughts appreciated.
