We haven't done a new tarball containing the 64-bit drivers, but they are available from Subversion.

The cupsaddsmb program (and the libcups APIs that implement the core bits) do the right things to export x86_64 drivers when those drivers and a recent version of Samba are installed on the CUPS system.

We don't "support" anything on cups.org - it is provided as open source software, and in some limited cases we provide binaries to make that software more accessible, however we don't have the resources or bandwidth to do any amount of free support, platform testing and validation, etc. In the case of Linux, the Linux distributor is solely responsible for supporting, testing, and validating a CUPS-based solution for Windows clients.
