Apples Bonjour, or I suppose another Bonjour/Avahi/ZeroConf print agent,
works well on windows.  CUPs printers are published into DNS from which
the Bonjour client detects them.  Only issue that is 'manual' is that an
appropriate driver must end up on the Windows workstation somehow.
